Beginning a new job always comes with certain expectations and tensions. A new environment, unfamiliar colleagues, and challenging trials await you. But what does your first week as a Marketing Consultant at 4P square look like?
Onboarding sessions
Your first day at 4P square is filled with information. Our HR Officer will welcome you to the headquarters in Mechelen with a warm cup of coffee to go over all the appointments and paperwork together. The philosophy and operation of 4P square become clear during the first working day.
You’ll meet your new colleagues and get acquainted with your new workspace. This can change quickly as a Marketing Consultant, because from day one, our recruiters start looking for a suitable project for you with one of our clients. It’s an exciting process in which you also have a say, as we value the preferences and interests of our consultants.
A welcome lunch is provided at midday. This gives you the opportunity to get to know your colleagues at 4P square even better in an informal way at a cozy brasserie in the heart of Mechelen.
Internal marketing team
As long as you’re not on a project, you are part of our internal marketing team. Our Marketing Manager will welcome you with open arms and familiarize you with the marketing strategy of 4P square. The periods between projects, when you’re working internally, serve for learning and acquiring knowledge that you can take to your next projects. A rapidly changing team brings challenges, but the opportunity to learn from each other is invaluable.
Even when you’re with a client, you can still rely on the support of our Marketing Manager. If you have questions or doubts, you can always call him for advice. 4P square is a solid home base that doesn’t leave its consultants to their own devices when they are engaged in an external assignment.
For our internal team, we use a combination of working in the office and remote work. This ensures a healthy balance between work and personal life, which we highly value. Weekly on Mondays, there’s a team lunch at the office where we enjoy a meal together. Additionally, we have weekly marketing meetings where everyone can bring their questions and feedback.
Learning Passport
In the first week, you’ll complete your personal Learning Passport, where you can indicate the marketing domains you already have experience in. This information will be taken into account when searching for a suitable project for you. Additionally, you can specify your areas of interest, so that we can offer training programs in the future that build upon these.
At 4P square, personal development and training are highly valued. Our consultants have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally during their careers at 4P square. We aim for T-shaped marketers with a broad foundational knowledge, complemented by personal specializations.
Company car
Since you work as a consultant at our clients’ locations, both in the office and at home, you need a car for commuting. At 4P square, you’ll receive your MINI Countryman hybrid, along with a fuel and charging card, on your first day of work. This modern vehicle is equipped with the latest features and will take you to your destination smoothly. We consciously choose hybrid cars to contribute to sustainability and care for the planet.
